Our nature inspired smallest setting!

Flying Start Illogan is for children aged 2 years plus and operates All Year Round.

We are extremely passionate about our nature inspired curriculum.

This means the children are more outside than they are inside, using nature and exciting experiences to encourage explorative learning skills, curiosity and lots of wonderment! 

The children are part of our ‘Grow It Cook It Eat It’ initiative, developing an allotment space, lots of growing and gardening opportunities, daily cooking and preparing of their own food and of course lots of tasting too! 

We have a fantastic outdoor space with willow tunnels, a mini pond (which has newts!), a snack hut, outdoor classroom space and our soon to be developed allotment.

We love our mud kitchen, potion stations and never ending ‘I wonder what happens if…’ experiments!

Our focus is also on becoming more sustainable and teaching the children simple ways they can be a part of this, and of course the important education that comes with caring more for ourselves and our planet.

We continues to ensure children at Flying Start @ Illogan get their flying start to their onward learning journey, our skilled practitioners weave in endless learning opportunities to promote the children’s school readiness.
