Flying Start @ Illogan Go on a Bear Hunt

This week in the preschool children @ Flying Start Illogan, we concentrated on encouraging the children to progress in their educational journey by putting effort into maintaining our daily routines with focus and care. In addition to keeping these routines, we also devoted time to practising activities that involved taking turns. This method was aimed at helping the children develop essential qualities like sharing and patience.
Following our exciting adventure on a “bear hunt,” we began to explore the enchanting theme of autumn animals. During this exploration, we examined the incredible array of colours that autumn brings and took part in activities designed to help us retell stories. These activities are crucial for nurturing our imagination and enhancing our storytelling abilities.
We engaged in various tasks requiring strong hand-eye coordination. These tasks also involved closely following instructions, which allowed us to create beautiful autumn pictures. Over the course of the week, we undertook numerous activities that enhanced our hand-eye coordination using both fine and large motor skills.
We also created our own sensory bear hunt and engaged our senses by looking and listening to sounds while taking turns.
