Flying Start @ Illogan Embark on a Magical Adventure

This week, the children @ Flying Start Illogan embarked on a truly enchanting and magical journey. This adventure involved them exploring various methods of transport, including travelling by trains, flying on planes, and even setting off by sea. The incredible destination of our fantastic journey was a lush and vibrant forest, chosen to complement our theme of the bear hunt. It is a place full of life, where we had the splendid opportunity to discover the magnificent trees and admire the colourful leaves that adorned the beautiful landscape.
During this marvellous adventure, we engaged in a range of creative activities that included painting and leaf rubbing. These activities provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to express their artistic talents while simultaneously learning about the wonders of the natural world surrounding them.
Furthermore, we discussed different “means of transport,” exploring ideas ranging from the fun notion of ‘riding a horse to the forest’ to the exciting concept of flying on a magic carpet, all of which sparked their imaginations even further.
To enhance our imaginative journey, we used loose parts to create our own bus, bought tickets for the ride, and took turns pretending to be the driver, ensuring everyone had a chance to lead our pretend travels.
