Flying Start Nurseries Rhyme This Week!!
We’ve been singing lots of nursery rhymes that have lots of actions. We are able to pick out of our nursery rhyme bags. We also created a twinkle twinkle little star sensory tray which the children have loved exploring.
We made ‘Incy Wincy Spider’, a nice web to dangle from whilst singing.
We also filled a tubes with different sensory such as rice, spaghetti and lentils, and then decorated their instruments with paint. Then they joined in with nursery rhymes, experimenting with their instruments to see what different sounds they could make. The toddlers have also created a song bag for Baa Baa Black Sheep, and have enjoyed using it and singing along.
We have also been singing and acting out the song Miss Polly had a dolly, we used the phone to call for a Doctor
They also had a great time singing autumnal songs such as Autumn leaves are falling down and Throw your leaves in the air.
