Flying Start @ Penryn Baby Parents and Grandparents Stay, Play and Plant!

Flying Start @ Penryn have hosted a Stay, Play and Plant session in the baby department for the babies parents, carers and friends.

Grandparents, Uncles, Aunties and Parents were invited in to nursery to join in with soil sensory play, sorting in different size plant pots, carefully scooping using trowels and little spades and of course planting plants!

The family members and visitors to the nursery helped the babies to explore herb plants – smelling the leaves, exploring the colour, height and textures of the plants.

The children with support from their special helpers scooped soil into big pots, and then planted their herbs.

Transporting them outside to their tyre planters.
