Flying Start @ Duchy’s Shape Sorting Display!
Flying Start @ Duchy are learning their shapes!
The children have a new and interactive shape display, where they can move the shapes around to explore them and learn about them.
The children match the shape to the one on the wall and stick it up, checking that the sides and points match together.
They then talk about what they can see… the triangle looking pointy for example!
When out and about encourage your child to find shapes in the environment… what shape is the cereal box? Or the car wheel?
