Flying Start @ Duchy Practise Numbers In The Forest!
This week in Forest school, Flying Start @ Duchy have been working on reciting numbers up to 10, whilst having fun outdoors!
For this they have been playing hide and seek… Firstly the children all hid and the staff found them, counting loudly to 10, and then each child took a turn hiding while all their friends counted loudly to 10 before going to find them! Look at that great concentration…
They also sang counting songs, including 8 speckled frogs where all the children lined up and then jumped onto the pond when it was their time! Then they sat in circles to sing 8 current buns…
