Flying Start @ Duchy Bake Buns!

The pre-school department at Flying Start @ Duchy have been baking some buns!

The children helped weigh out all of the ingredients, mix them together, and then spoon the mixture into the cases.

The children & staff talked about the different tools and utensils they used, including the scales, whisk and wooden spoon. They also talked about the ingredients and where they come from…

Afterwards, when the staff had baked the buns in the oven, the children got to eat their delicious buns! YUM!
