Flying Start @ Duchy Have Been Kneading Their Messy Area!
Flying Start @ Duchy have been measuring, mixing, kneading and moulding play dough in their messy play!
The preschool children identified their ingredients, and then used cups to measure the quanitites needed to make playdough… and of course the required sprinkle of glitter!
They mixed their dry ingredients firstly, then added warm water and then the much anticipated step came when the children could get their hands in the bowl and knead the dough together!
The play dough was used to explore texture and use tools such as rolling pins and cutters!
Lots of fun was had in the preschool room, from the beginning of the making process right through to the hours of kneading and experimenting with the dough.
