Flying Start @ Duchy Visit Local Nursing Home!

The children and staff from Flying Start @ Duchy have been on a visit to Appleby Lodge Nursing Home.

The children sang to the residents, who joined in on the songs that they knew and then clapped to show their appreciation!

They also took some pictures with them to complete some colouring, which the children shared with the residents and coloured their pictures together.

The children really liked this visit and were very confident with the residents, and are looking forward to returning at Christmas to do a Carol Service!

A lovely trip for all, and a great way for the nursery to get out into the community!
