Flying Start @ Redruth Visit Their Local Farm!
The pre-school children at Flying Start @ Redruth have been going on trips to Trevaskis farm to learn more and see first hand a working farm to match their learning theme!
The children looked at lots of different animals, and discussed which foods can come from these animals such as eggs, milk and cheese.
They also spent lots of time exploring the fields and poly-tunnels and particularly liked the herb garden!
Lastly, the children visited the farm shop and chose some new foods to experience at snack times… they chose goats cheese, pomegranate, purple carrots and spring onions!
And then they headed back to nursery for a taste-test…
