Flying Start @ Camborne Build Bigger…Bigger… BANG!
Flying Start @ Camborne have been building and balancing and building a bit more!
The children have been using different shapes, different sizes and different blocks to create towers and structures.
As the towers got bigger, the children were using their positional language such as ‘on top’, ‘this way’, ‘that way’ and then mathematical language such as ‘bigger’ and ‘taller’ as they measured it as it grew and grew through their building!
Until BANG! It over toppled! The boys then re thought how they built it and planned again to get it taller than them!
How tall do we think it managed to be built?
