Flying Start @ Camborne Celebrate Diwali!

Flying Start @ Camborne have been celebrating the festival of Diwali with some themed activities…

The children learned all about Rangoli patters, and tried out some of their own using their autumnal sensory trays… Look at the concentration in making this Rangoli-style pattern!

They also experimented with some hand decorations, and then got active and tried out some Indian dancing, moving their hands and hips after watching some example videos of Indian children dancing!

All of the staff and children really enjoyed how colourful and full of light the Diwali celebrations are, and even added lights to their display to make it look special!
