Flying Start @ Camborne Are Visited By The RNLI!

As part of their ‘People Who Help Us’ theme, the children and staff at Flying Start @ Camborne have had more exiting visitors… The RNLI lifeguards!

Georgina and Rachel arrived at nursery in their shiny big beach vehicle, which caused a lot of excitement! They explained to the children all about how important it is to keep safe when we are on the beach, and ways to do this.

The lifeguards were very impressed that the children had already learned what the different coloured flags meant – and then they showed the children the huge flags that are actually used on the beach!

The children also learned that if they get separated  from their Mummy or Daddy, that they should look for the lifeguards who will be dressed in red and yellow – the same colour as the safe flag.
