Flying Start @ Camborne’s Babies have been exploring a water mat!
The children use this mat to squish and squeeze objects, moving them through the water using their hands on top of the mat!
The children not only have to use their hand eye coordination and motor skills to do this, but are starting to develop critical thinking and problem solving characteristics of learning.
The babies have now also started identifying the colours of some of the objects inside the mat and pointing to them independently!
