Flying Start @ Cornwall College Do A *BIG WIGGLE* For Charity!
Flying Start @ Cornwall College held a ‘Big Wiggle’ in aid of Action for Children charity, linked to their Very Hungry Caterpillar storybook theme!!
The children came in wearing red and green like the hungry caterpillar, and parents came in to join in the story and the big wiggle…
Staff, parents and children all read the ‘Very Hungry Caterpillar’ story together, recognising the fruits he ate, and then they jumped up to do a big caterpillar wiggly dance!
Afterwards, everybody shared the very hungry caterpillar snacks all together… they ate all of the fruits from the story including apple, pear, plums, strawberries and oranges! Yum!
They also had a big cake sale to raise money to support ‘Action for Children’!
Great work, Cornwall College – and a huge thank you to the parents who came to join in with the wiggling!!
