Flying Start @ Cornwall College Celebrate St Piran’s Day

This week the preschool children at Cornwall College have been learning about the story of St Piran. We started the week off by learning the story, using props and puppets to help us act it out. Then we drew the story on our storyboards, recalling the information Danielle had taught us, and practising our pencil grip and name writing. This week the children have also made the Cornish flag using tissue paper, and coloured in some Cornish themed worksheets, speaking about the things Cornwall is most known for. Towards the end of the week, we practiced our crimping technique and made delicious pasties!
