Flying Start @ Cornwall College Do Christmas Shoebox Appeal!

The pre-school at Flying Start @ Cornwall College have been packing up shoeboxes with christmas presents, as part of the annual shoebox appeal.

The children talked all about Christmas and how they feel when they receive presents and how they feel when they give presents, then they thought about children who don’t get many or any presents – this was quite hard to think about!

The children went to tesco and bought some small pieces for the shoeboxes and then parents and families have been donating  bits over the last 3 weeks to add in too! Some families even packed a whole shoebox for Cornwall College nursery to sendoff to the shoebox appeal!

In total Flying Start @ Cornwall College sent 14 shoeboxes – which will hopefully mean 14 very happy children somewhere in the world!
