Flying Start @ Cornwall College Dig For Dinosaurs!

The toddlers at Flying Start @ Cornwall College have been reading the story of ’10 Little Dinosaurs’, and doing lots of fun activities to explore around this story!

The children have had great fun hunting for dinosaur bones in their sand and soil and then fitting them together to create a big dinosaur!

The children have also have made dinosaurs in clay, with spikes and eyes!

This was great for problem solving and involved lots of planning… the toddlers planned what materials they would use, then had a go and overcame lots of hurdles on the way as clay was a new material for lots of the children.

And all that hard work paid off… look at these brilliant dinosaurs!
