Flying Start @ Cornwall College Toddlers Explore The Very Hungry Caterpillar Story!
‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ is the story theme this half term for the Toddler department at Flying Start @ Cornwall College!  The staff have specially designed the toddler environment around the story, and the children have been exploring  lots of caterpillar related activities!
So far the children have helped to create an interactive story corner where the butterflies spin around…

The children have been really enjoing a game where you pass the caterpillars through the holes as they eat their fruits, which has been great for their fine motor control and hand eye coordination!

The children have also been outside digging int the garden for caterpillars and are preparing for a giant wiggle next week, where parents are invited in to wiggle like caterpillars and then have a very hungry caterpillar snack where we taste all of
the different fruits he ate in the story!
