Flying Start @ Cornwall College Explore Their New Autumn Corner!

They collected leaves on walks around the college campus over the last week, and now they have dried out are feeling the crunchy leaves, looking at the colours and reading stories with leaves, trees and some even have forest friends in them!

This week forest animal puppets and real pumpkins joined the children in their little exploration area. The children explored the colours and patterns on the pumpkins before picking them up and feeling how heavy they were… and very quickly what a BIG sound they made when dropped!!

We will continue to explore autumnal stories, sensory and even the inside of the pumpkin in the next few weeks!
