Flying Start @ Cornwall College have been getting creative at Food Times!
Flying Start @ Cornwall College have moved along with the summer weather that they have been enjoying to incorporate it into their snack and meal times!
The preschool children have been enjoying their snack in the garden, sharing a picnic blanket and nibbling in the sunshine!
The menu for the children’s lunches has also moved towards the summer menu, so that really heavy lunches or hot soups can be swapped for a summery alternative such as fresh salads and finger foods.
The children have enjoyed learning about these changes and helping the cook in cutting and chopping salads and vegetables, and even baking their own bread rolls to have alongside their ploughman’s lunch!
