Flying Start @ Cornwall College Lots of Celebrations in Lower Preschool

This week lower preschool at Cornwall College have had a really busy week! We have been celebrating valentines day, pancake day and Chinese new year. We have done a range of different activities which have supported a lot of different skills, such as our fine motor skills, personal, social and emotional development and our understanding of the world.

We had a stay and play on Valentines Day where we had our families in to show them our room and do all things Valentines. We made love bugs, painted flower hand prints and spoke about who we love and something special about them. It was lovely to have you all in.

For pancake day we decorated our own pancakes and practiced our fine motor cutting skills and we even had them for pudding after lunch!

Chinese new year was a busy week, where we practiced our counting, decorated our own lanterns and played with gloopy pancake mix!!
