Flying Start @ Cornwall College Number Their Water Fun!

Flying Start @ Cornwall College have been using their wonderful garden lots in the recent beautiful sunshine!

Both children and staff have loved getting outside and learning through play in their outdoor space.

The preschool children have been practising naming their numerals and shapes, recognising them and then developing their writing and drawing of them… using their fingers in damp sand, water and paintbrushes and now chalks on the ground!

The children loved spending a hot afternoon filling up balloons with water ready to play a target game of landing their water balloon for it to POP in their named shape or number! This got their brains thinking, arms throwing and feet jumping out of the way of the splash!

 

 

However we are not sure who enjoyed it more… the children or the staff?! And these pictures lead us no further in our decision as everyone looks like they are having a great time!
