The toddlers at Flying Start @ Cornwall College recently went to buy vegetable bulbs in the local community, to bring back, plant, and grow in the nursery environment!
 
The children have been really enjoying having gardening sessions involving growth, measuring, and healthy eating! And they’ve been closely monitoring the growth of the vegetables over the whole term…
 
Then this week, they dug them up and created a potato salad for cooking club to eat at snack time – delicious!
What great work seeing the plant to plate process all the way through, and eating lovely fresh vegetables!
