Flying Start @ Cornwall College Visit Heartlands With Mr. Squirrel!

The holiday club and oldest pre-school children went on a trip to Heartlands… and took Mr Squirrel with them, who was very hungry!

The children foraged for Mr Squirrel’s snacks, finding different natural objects they thought he might like to feast on… they looked for a well balanced diet of crunchy items, smooth items,

different colours, and even some sweeties (flower petals!)!!

When it started to rain, the children found a big tree to shelter under, and they all looked over the bridge into the water but decided not to try to catch a fish for Mr Squirrel!

Then they went to the café to make him comfy and let Mr Squirrel eat all of his plates of food, whilst the children and staff enjoyed a hot chocolate!

What a fun trip!
