Flying Start @ Duchy Go to The Moon!

The Pre-schooler’s have been showing a firm interest in Space today… so we took the opportunity to learn about different planets and of course build a space rocket!

We firstly printed out some photos of the planets and learnt some names, the children were intrigued by the differing colours.

The children then worked very hard together to build their space rocket that would take them to the moon, not forgetting to put on their special jackets and hats!

Once they had been to the moon the children created pictures of their journey before reading books about space!

What a busy day!
