Flying Start @ Duchy Go On Trips Into The Community!
The children and staff at Flying Start @ Duchy have been on some exciting trips into their local community recently… firstly they visited Stoke Climsland to go to their local Post Office.
They got kitted out in their new Flying Start high vis jackets, which was very exciting – as you can see from their brilliant team photos!
At the post office, they bought a copy of the most recent Cornish Times, as the nursery were in the nursery with their Flying Start 25th Birthday celebrations… the children were delighted to see their photo and the words all about their party!
The Duchy nursery pre-school children have also visited Appleby Lodge Residential Home this week… the children shared their colouring in with the residents.
Afterwards, everybody all sang together… Some songs they all sang together and then the children showed the residents some of their favourite nursery songs, and the residents shared some songs that are their favourites!
The staff & children can’t wait to go back again soon!
