Flying Start @ Duchy Host Forest Stay & Play!
The toddlers and their parents had a great time in the Forest going on a Bear Hunt, inspired by their current theme!
The fun kicked off with reading the story at nursery with the children and their parents, and then they all headed off down to the forest with pictures in their hands that they had to look for!
The children looked high and low, in trees, in the leaves and behind logs and twigs to find their pictures… Once they had found their pictures they headed to the stream to splash and splosh just like in the story!
Then they went squelch, squelch in the mud where they had to be careful not to lose their wellies!
They ended the trip by walking through the forest looking for the bear in the cave! The children used their homemade binoculars and found the bear!
A big thank you to the toddler parents for joining in with the Stay & Play, and well done to the staff for putting on a great fun session!
