Flying Start @ Duchy Pre-School Go On Shopping Trip!

The pre-schoolers at Flying Start @Duchy have been enjoying going out and about on walks into the community, so they decided to go to the shop & post office. The children looked around the aisles for something that they could have for snacktime…  After much thought, they decided on beans on toast!

The children carefully counted out 3 tins of beans and selected a loaf of bread… then they each gave the money at the till and used their good manners to chat to the lady shopkeeper!

And then they counted the change looking at each coin.

They then walked back to nursery with their afternoon snack in hand! A lovely trip into their local community.
