Flying Start @ Duchy Roll Around with Paint!

 

 

Flying Start @ Duchy have been exploring the rolling motion with their babies and toddlers.

The children chose a ball of paint and added it to a box, they then manouvered the ball around the box by tilting it side to side and forwards and backwards. As they moved the box they could see and hear the ball rolling around!

The magic happened when the children noticed that when the ball rolled inside the box, it made marks on the paper!

What an interesting activity enabling the children to experiment with movement and marks.
