Flying Start @ Duchy’s Developing Independence…
Flying Start @ Duchy have been developing the preschoolers independence at snack time!
The nursery has been focusing on the ‘Health and Self-Care’ strand of learning from the curriculum and this means lots of promoting independence to the children, whether this be our oldest babies trialling drinking their milk at snack with no lids on their cups, toddlers becoming more independent in their toiletting routines or even the preschool children washing up their own snack dishes!
The oldest children have been setting the table and clearing it themselves… why not get them practicing at home?!
