Flying Start @ Duchy have been tasting different fruits and vegetables!
The children have been using all of their senses…
Looking and describing the colours, shapes and sizes of the fruit,
Smelling the fruits, feeling the fruits in their fingers and then in their mouths to taste them… at last!
The children tried a big selection, including: watermelon, grapefruit, beetroot, avocado, different coloured tomatoes, celery, Sharon fruit, radish and blueberries!
They started to use different descriptive words to explain their findings! Sour, sweet, crunchy, smooth were all used!
