Flying Start @ Helston Explore Ice Sensory! 
The pre-school department at Flying Start @ Helston have been exploring water as their learning theme, and looking at it in all different themes… They discovered that water turns into ice when it is put into the freezer!

The pre-schoolers have been holding and playing with the ice – describing what it feels like, and noticing how quickly it melts!

And the staff even set a challenge for the children to build something from the ice before it melts in the air!

 The pre-schoolers had a lot of fun trying to balance the slippery and cold ice cubes on top of each other without them falling off or turning into big waterfalls! BRRRRRR!
