Flying Start @ Helston’s Babies Explore Different Textures…
Mixing cornflour and water to make gloop, using their hands, wooden spoons, brushes and other utensils to explore the different sensations!
When it settles it looks and feels like a solid but then you can make it runny by mixing it up, the babies had to use some force and speed to mix it up and make it runny!!
The babies have also this week been experimenting with different sizes and textures of sensory such as lentils, dried pasta and dried beans.
They have been concentrating on picking them up, placing them on the paper or sprinkling them onto the sticky glue – practicing lots of different skills through this exploratory play!
