Flying Start @ Marjon Explore Autumn At Forest School!

Flying Start @ Marjon have been welcoming the new season, and using harvest and Autumn as their focuses for forest school recently!

The children got dressed up in their waterproof suits and welly boots with help from the staff, and then went off on an adventure… They walked all around the forest and were excited to find treasure such as pine cones, acorns and conkers!

They then discussed all the different colours of the leaves, and looked at how they were falling from the trees now that summer is over.

They also made clay hedgehogs together, and looked for different sized animal holes and imagined what might live in them in the forest!

The children are excited to do forest school again this week to explore even more of Autumn!!
