Flying Start @ Marjon have been saying Hola to Spain, with special visits from a parent who has agreed to come in and teach the children some words in Spanish!
They have been learning the days of the week and their colours, and have been enjoying trying out the sounds which are sometimes very different to our sounds in English…
The children have been really enjoying the sessions, and getting very excited, trying out their new words and trying to remember them all at their morning circle time!
A huge ‘gracias’ to the very kind Spanish-speaking parent for donating their time to give the children this opportunity!
