Flying Start @ Marjon Make Paint From Natural Resources!
This week, the children at Flying Start @ Marjon have had a go at making paint using natural resources!
The children started by practising their cutting skills using scissors to cut grass and flowers they found around the garden…
Then they put these into a pestle and mortar and crushed them all up…
..before adding water and flour to thicken the mixture, to create a natural paint!
The children really enjoyed this activity and loved adding different ingredients to their paint including mud and parsley!
They then used this paint with paint brushes or plants to create their own art work with some of the children painting the Gruffalo from their current story, whilst others painted horses and dinosaurs!
