The pre-school children at Flying Start @ Marjon have been learning about why we wear and see lots of poppies at this time of year, and have been doing lots of craft activities based around poppies to mark Remembrance Day…
The children have been painting poppies, and achieving the shape by cutting and sticking together paper plates!
They have also been creating poppy shapes in their rice sensory tray.
The children even made poppy-themed biscuits, icing them red, which they then took home to share with their families!
