Flying Start @ Marjon Pre-School Go On A Bug Hunt!

The pre-school at Flying Start @ Marjon have been out and about exploring and learning at Forest school!

They went on a big bug hunt looking for creatures… They started off by looking at the different textures the bugs use for their houses and talked about the similarities and differences in their environments.

Then they got their equipment ready with their binoculars, their magnifying glasses, and their bug lists on clipboards! Then they went off into the forest to explore…

The children searched high and low…

And they found big, little, colourful, and dark coloured bugs! They were hiding away under rocks and logs, and the children were really careful when they found them, and put them back gently too. Then they ticked them off on their sheets!

  

They learned lots & found lots of bugs on their very successful bug hunt… well done Marjon pre-school!
