Flying Start @ Marjon Have Storybook Fun At Forest School!
This week, the children at Flying Start @ Marjon have been reading ‘The Stick Man’ down in the forest hut!
They have had a great time exploring the book and making different stick men out of play dough, sticks and natural materials that they have found in the forest!
The children even climbed trees and pretended to be the stick man in the stick man’s house!
After all the fun was had down at the forest, the children came back up to do a science experiment, with all the different nature objects they had found… The children had to found out what objects would sink and which would float!
What amazing Forest-based exploring and learning!
