Flying Start @ Redruth Celebrate Holi Festival!
The whole nursery at Flying Start @ Redruth have been celebrating the Indian festival of ‘Holi’!
The children learned all about India and how the festival is celebrated there… Then they joined in with a variety of activities and lots of messy painting activities,
as in India they celebrate Holi by throwing paint at each other!!
After all this creative fun, the children did a
little ‘taste testing’ to try different foods from India at snack time…
…and the children were very adventurous and enjoyed exploring the different spices!
What brilliant fun, and a great opportunity to learn about a different culture!
