Flying Start @ Redruth Get Green Fingers!
The children went on a trip to Burncoose Nurseries. We were given a guided tour by John who works there. They helped the children find different coloured leaves on a variety of trees. He taught us the name of lots of trees and plants. We went hunting for animal houses, we saw a hole in a tree that an owl or a bat might have lived in.
At the end John gave us some goodies to take away. We had bulbs for a Christmas plant and a magazine.
