Flying Start @ Redruth Pre-School Welcome New ‘Garden’ Theme!
At Flying Start @ Redruth, the pre-school department have started exploring their new theme of ‘the garden’ for this half term…
They have an exciting new maths area, where they will be focusing on measuring the growth of their own flowers and vegetables in their nursery garden, as well as making their very own growth charts and looking at what plants need to grow!
The staff have also made their own garden shop role-play area, which the children are already loving playing in! They are taking in turns to play the roles of shopkeeper and customers, with some real coins, as well as real fruit and veg!
It’s looking like a wonderful set up to learn a lot about growing fruit & veg in the garden, and being healthy!
