Flying Start @ Saltash Is Graded GOOD In All Areas By OFSTED!!
We are delighted to announce that… Flying Start @ Saltash have been graded GOOD in all areas by Ofsted!! A huge congratulations to our wonderful staff team at Saltash, led by manager Amy Maher!
Amy has been a very long-standing member of staff at Flying Start, but only a manger for 18 months – what a brilliant achievement!
Highlights from the report included:
Staff were praised for promoting children’s health & wellbeing and meeting individual needs well!
Staff were found to teach children about emotions, feelings and consequences of their behaviour, whilst providing effective challenges to their learning, and engaging their interests well!
Children were observed to enjoy being at nursery, and to feel secure!
The inspector was pleased to see children playing well together, cooperating, and having good manners – whilst having lots of fun and showing fascination, as they make good progress and get a ‘Flying Start’ to school!!
