Flying Start @ Saltash Visit The Fire Station!
The toddler and preschool children at Flying Start @ Saltash went on a very special trip to the local fire station!
The children all got to dress up as firefighters in all their protective clothing – which they had mini versions of for the children!
They then got to sit in the huge red fire enging, where they listened to the siren and watched the lights flash – which the firefighters explained was for when there is an emergency and they have to drive fast to get there.
And then… the children even got to have a go with the huge hose pipes that the firefighters use to put out the flames!
The firefighters do an amazing job to keep us all safe, and the children had an amazing visit to the fire station… a HUGE thank you to the local fire service for such an informative & exciting visit!
