Flying Start @ Saltash Visit Tincome Nature Reserve!
The pre-schoolers at Flying Start @ Saltash went on an exciting trip to Tincombe Nature Reserve this week!
First, the children went on a bug hunt, to see what they could find…
using their minibeasts chart, and their magnifying glasses, and making their way through the long grasses!
Then they collected sticks and drew pictures with them, had an outdoor snack, and even found apple and pear trees!
The children especially loved the stream at the nature reserve, and playing a game where they dropped in sticks and watched them float down the stream to see how fast it was moving!
