Flying Start @ Saltash’s Babies and Preschool Bake Savoury Tarts!
The babies helped Hannah to bake cheese tarts …
They started by mixing the ingredients to make pastry, using a big spoon to help them stir!
Before squeezing and squidging the dough together, rolling it out and then using a cutter to make a round tart case each!
Cheese was added before they were baked in the oven! Yummy!
In the preschool room the children were able to be a little more hands on and develop their coordination skills…
After measuring out their ingredients they used their strength to mix mix mix the butter into the dry ingredients.. trying to keep it all in the bowl!
They also made cheesey tarts which were very much enjoyed!
