Flying Start @ Saltash’s Start To The Spring Term!
Flying Start @ Saltash have had a lively start to 2016!
The children have been enjoying lots of physical play, wrapping up warm and getting out into the garden and going out on walks also.
A hot chocolate treat on a cold walk helped to warm up the pre-schoolers hands and tummies!
Inside the babies have been exploring lots of different sensory opportunities, feeling different textures and materials in their hands and on their faces. They have also been exploring sounds with singing and instruments!
The toddlers have been getting messy in their sensory play…
Outside they have been collecting leaves and sticks and then using them to create outdoor leaf pictures, stamping them into paint and then identifying their prints on the paper. With support the children recognise the different shapes and sizes of the natural objects.
