New Nursery!
We finally have Planning Permission for our brand new nursery at Marjon University and building will start on the 1st December 2014 and finish in April 2015.
We had a great Parents Evening last night with Steve and Sharon Cowburn and of course the Marjon staff team, supported by John Collinson the Project Manager and Alison Hicks who leads the University Estates Team. Refreshments were provided by Emma, the cook, with some help cooking from the older children!
We discussed the plans and the artist impressions of the new building……in particular its innovative wedge shaped design which means all rooms have access to free flow into the garden through full length reinforced glass doors, the under floor heating and the eco credentials which mean it will be warm in winter and cool in summer.
Folllowing questions from parents we can confirm that fees will not rise other than the normal reviews in September, we are installing security lights facing into the drop off parking bays and will be providing a buggy shelter.
